Specifications:
For single action doors with leaf width up to 1400mm. Can be used for right and left hand doors without adjustment. If the door closer is to be fitted to fire and smoke protection doors, a mounting plate is usually required. For correct operation the door closer needs to be hard wired into the building fire alarm system via a power supply unit (PSU).

The Geze TS4000EFS is a free swing door closer so once the door closer has been opened fully for the first time the door closer is primed in the ready position. This allows the door to act as if it did not have a door closer on at all, thus the door can be opened with no resistance and left ajar or fully open. Upon activation of the fire alarm, the Geze TS 4000 EFS automatically closes the door to comply with fire regulations.

Standard Package:
GEZE TS 4000EFS for normal installation 24 V DC complete with screws, electrical terminal box, mounting template and link arm. Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplied separately (see accessories list).

Electrical Installation:
Closer : The GEZE TS4000EFS must be connected to a 24 V DC direct voltage supply to allow the door to swing free. Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

PSU : Each power supply can operate up to 6 door closers. Each cable run must not exceed 8m (25 feet). Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Free-swing Function:
Freely opening and closing doors (e.g. homes for the elderly, hospitals) after the door has been opened for the first time (e.g. in the morning). Reliable automatic closing of the door in the event of fire, irrespective of the resting position of the door.
