TENANTS living in the Lord Street flats in Douglas, Isle of Man, have been urged not to wedge open or tamper with fire doors following a fire earlier this week. Douglas Borough Council has issued the warning after four people were taken to hospital following a fire in flat 55 of the Murray's House block at around 11pm on Tuesday. Read more...

Doorstuff Ltd, a premier door hardware company in the South West, has more than trebled its warehouse size to accommodate increased inventory as its customer base continues its rapid growth.
The locally-owned company, established in 2006, has moved into a 130 sq.m building at 7 Venture Court, Bradley Lane, Newton Abbot. Additional handling space and capacity will enable the ex-stock availability of extra-long sliding door tracks, previously restricted to workshop lead times. Read more...
