A comparison of the GEZE roller carriages: Rollan 40, Rollan 80 & Perlan 140 sliding door gear

roller-comparison

When specifying sliding door gear for timber doors, one always needs to know the weight of the doors.  Illustrated in the photo above can be seen the difference in the axle construction between the 3 main GEZE systems; the Rollan 40, the Rollan 80 and the Perlan 140.  The weight limit per door in kgs is the 40, 80 and 140 of the systems’ names.  The Rollans both share the same aluminium track profile, which comes in a mill finish (i.e. not finished).  The Perlan 140 has its own chunkier and more heavy duty track, which is finished in an attractive satin anodised aluminium.  Double doors can be accommodated on the same track by simply buying an extra door pack.
