I need a three panel folding/sliding door, or four panel if three is not possible. The opening is 1.0 mtr wide x 1.85 mtr high. Have you runners that will do this? I can make the doors myself.

As long as your individual door leaves will weigh no more than 7kg each, then I would recommend the Henderson Bi Fold B15 - 4 door kit, which you can cut down to fit the opening.  You can read about it and see the price at the link.  If your doors will be heavier, then you'll need to look at the Foldaside 100 (2 or 4 door kits only). bi-fold-sliding-folding-door-gear

I am looking for a long bar handle of good quality to use on a glass sliding interior door, do you have anything suitable?

December 4, 2010 by Editor
We do brushed stainless steel back-to-back pull handles in either the "D" shape or the "guardsman" design (also known as "T" bar handles) suitable for frameless glass doors, in a range of sizes.  You can see the prices at the link there (scroll down to nearly the bottom of the page). guardsman-handles

Can I use an OAD from the 200 / 300 series with the 400 series Touch Bar Range?

December 4, 2010 by Editor
No, because the bolt-through fixing positions are different. Also the 410 OAD from the Touch Bar range can not be used with the 200 / 300 series range because the mechanism only rotates in the one direction. All accessories need to be listed on the Manufacturers Declaration of Conformity, and using any accessory not listed will negate the CE marking.

Why can a 410 OAD not be used to operate a 297 / 296 Panic Latch or a 294 Panic Bolt?

December 7, 2010 by Editor
Because the mechanism on the 200 series units operates in one direction only and the amount of travel is limited. Therefore the lever handle would not fully retract the bolts and latches and would also not operate downwards in a normal manner. Also, all accessories need to be listed on the Manufacturers Declaration of Conformity, and using any accessory not listed will negate the CE marking and may lead to prosecution.

A sliding glass door with no track on the floor?

December 10, 2010 by Editor
Q (from Angela) We wish to fit a glass sliding door in our hallway but don't want a track going across the floor, do you have anything that could be used? A: The frameless glass sliding door systems which we do, the Geze Rollan 80G, the Perlan 140G, the Perlan SoftStop Glass and the Projeto 150G, use a small metal floor guide which does not need a full length track on the floor.  The metal guides which come with the kits look like this (although the Projeto 150G one is Brushed Stainless Steel):- glass-floor-guideIf you need further help to narrow down the choice, then do get in touch!

Is an Exidor OAD available with a Lever Handle?

December 14, 2010 by Editor
The 200/300 series now offers the 322 lever OAD. The 500 and 700 series both have lever handle OAD’s available, which can be used with single point latches, 2, and 3 point locking Bolts and Pullman Catches.
