Handing lift off hinges

Taken from Royde & Tucker's literature, this useful illustration is helpful for deciding which hand hinges are required:-

The Rollan sliding door gear kit comes with short metal floor guides...

...which are designed to be used in conjunction with a groove which you have to mortice into the bottom of the door.  If the door doesn't travel more than it's own width, then manufacturer Geze's invisible Rollan floor guide is the best & most elegant thing to use:-
