Specifications:
The TIWI is designed for external sliding folding doors. This system allows the doors to be folded to one side giving a full unobstructed opening. If using the 1, 3 or 5 door systems, the last door can open independently without having to slide or fold any of the other the doors. Various door arrangements can be made using the 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 door systems.

Top guide:
The top guide runs in a channel morticed into the head of the door frame. The top guide is attached to the top hinge allowing the doors to align with the frame and the top PVC weather seals.

Handle hinges:
The centre hinges between doors 1 & 2 and/or 3 & 4 have a hinge handle. This is a hinge that has a pull handle integrated into it. This handle is used to manually pull the doors into the frame whiles closing them onto the PVC weather seals, and then the flush bolts are used to hold them in place.

Bottom roller:
The bottom roller is attached to the bottom hinge and allows the doors to fold along the line of the bottom track. These rollers are rated for doors up to 900mm wide, 70kgs in weight and 44mm door thickness.

Bottom track:
The bottom track is fixed to the lower door frame and guide the bottom rollers along its length. An alternative bottom track for a flat threshold can be supplied at an extra cost.

PVC weather seals and brush strips:
All the kits come complete with the required lengths of PVC weather seals and bottom brush strips as can be seen in the end view door details opposite. The brush strips attach to the bottom of the doors only whilst the PVC weather seals have a single strip around the frame and a duel strip between each door.
