Using Foldaside 100 track where all 4 doors fold to 1 side, what keeps the doors flat in the closed position, do they “snap” closed with springs on the hangers in the track or do they have to be bolted to the floor?

Can I use a floor spring door closer on an external door?

Yes.  To protect the workings from water & the weather, when fitting the floor spring use sealing compound, which is available to buy on the floor spring product pages: see this link to floor springs

Q: Keeping a mortice deadlock on a fire exit door fitted with panic hardware?

…I wish to keep a mortice deadlock for added overnight security, is this possible? A: You would need to pass this with your local fire officer who will decide based on the usage of the building.
