A fire escape door with a micro switch for an alarm?

Q: (from Simon) I am the caretaker of a school.  There is a door which must be a fire escape door in a wing of the school which is seldom used.  If it is opened in any non-fire related event, then staff in the reception office need to be alerted by alarm so it can be checked and relocked as soon as possible.  Sometimes members of the Art Department staff need to enter through this door too.  Can it be done?
A: (from Doorstuff) Yes, using a Exidor 296 push bar with Micro switch to link into an Access Control System or Remote Monitoring System for the PUSH side of the door, and an Exidor 322 EC outside access device with keys and a euro cylinder for the other side.
