Is there panic hardware for INWARD opening doors?

Q: (from John) We have a fire exit door that opens inward and we require to fit a lock that can only work from inside the building, do they make such a thing?
A: The Exidor 500 series can work on pull-to-open fire escape doors (as well as the more usual push-to-open).  This is because the handle opens the lock when you pull it upwards as well as when you push it down.  Use 502A-B for public access areas or 502A-P for workplace areas inward opening doors.  Alternatively, for a timber door consider using an escape sashlock, which will give you the “single action exit” required for fire escape doors.
