TIGRIS 6-pin Patent-protected master keyed euro profile cylinder suite

TIGRIS 6-pin Patent-protected master keyed euro profile cylinder suiteSuiting details showing a traditional masterkeyed system

Specifications:

Master keyed cylinders offer the most flexible method of controlling access to a building with multiple cylinder locks and multiple staff members. It allows the owner to control access to the building's many rooms with minimal cost.

Patented system:
This is a Patent-protected system which allows full key control - only the manufacturer can cut replacement / extra keys to authorised order. This gives the owner of the building full control over how many keys are cut and issued.

The cylinders are also more secure with features such as Anti-bump, Anti-pick, Anti-drill and Anti-snap as standard.

What is master keying:
Master keying is a cylinder pinning system which allows each cylinder in a suite to be opened by more than one type of key. A single key can also have the option to open more than one cylinder.

Here is an example of masterkeying in a commercial building:-
The building owner has a master key allowing access to any room.
A cleaner has a sub-master key to all the rooms, except controlled rooms (server room, plant rooms, electrical cupboards, etc...).
A manager has a key to all the doors in his or her particular office areas (a sub master can be used on each floor)
A member of staff has a key that would only open their own office door.
Each individual person's key may also open the front door to the building, if a common cylinder is used there.

If more than one building is owned then a Grand Master key could allow access to all the buildings but the cleaners, managers and staff would only be able to access their own building.

Please contact us to discuss your exact suiting requirements, for complex suites we will then produce a full lock suiting chart for your approval before we manufacture your system.

Options:
Offset cylinders (where one side is longer than the other, normally for uPVC doors) - contact us.

Keys
Each cylinder is supplied as standard with 2 differ keys each.  Master / sub master keys and additional differ keys are more cost effectively purchased with the cylinders, than later.  For replacement keys please order through Doorstuff, a Letter of Authority may be required.  Contact us for more information.

N.B. Additional cylinders (less than 21) ordered later (12 months +) are charged at a different rate.  Please contact us with your requirements for prices.
