How Standard Glass Pocket Door Floorguides Work

August 2, 2017 by · Comments Off on How Standard Glass Pocket Door Floorguides Work

Doorstuff supplies standard glass pocket door kits with floor guides situated inside the pocket. The floor guide acts as a channel in the bottom of the door to guide it as it leaves the pocket. This gives an unobstructed threshold which eliminates trip hazards and prevents dust and dirt accumulation often found when a guide is routed into the floor.  The same system is used in many of our surface-mounted sliding door systems.

iMpero architrave-free pocket door gear
The iMpero architrave free deluxe cassette pocket door gear system offers superior running gear and a fully constructed cassette pocket with superior strength. Architrave free for installations where a minimal aesthetic is required and where the door opening needs to be frameless (i.e. without architrave), the kits come with a set of heavy duty custom door frame beading sections. These sections enable the skim coat to be painted / finished to blend in with the door frame for a minimalist aesthetic. Suitable for single or double internal doors, with kits ranging in size from 626mm to 1500mm wide and up to 2700mm high within a 125mm thick finished wall. The pocket door gear comes complete with track, runners, brackets, stops and cassette.  As standard, kits accommodate maximum 44mm thick door leaves. Can be used with the optional full length iMpero glass clamps for frameless glass doors.
