Is the slide bar on the L220 slide digital lock sprung loaded. In other words does it stay open when wound open or spring back shut?

The slide bar is not sprung loaded, it has to be manually turned closed to re-lock the door. If you need a comparable unit to automatically relock upon closing the door, it would be the mortice latch version “Little” Lockey L235 digital lock.
